DU hires the coach from Princeton. His team just finished last in the Ivy League (2-12).
The only thing I can make of this is we're adding football and playing Ivy Leaguers. Hooray!
I'm out of here until more DU fans post. Have a pleasant tomorrow.

He was the force behind the turnaround at Air Force. Great choice.

Hats off to our new Athletic Director for bringing Joe Scott to Denver to turn around our Men’s BB Program. It should be lots of fun to watch DU become a giant killer as Princeton and Air Force have done using the Princeton offence.
We didn't just hire a coach, but hired someone who has years of experience with the Princeton offence - 4 years playing point guard under Pete Cahill at Princeton, 8 years and many NCCA tournaments as an Ast. To Cahill at Princeton and Turing Air Force into an NCAA team in just 3 seasons in the Mountain West which has consistently been one of the top 10 conferences.
Once he gets his system and players in place, I feel that it should be much easier to turn DU around than Air Force because the Sun Belt is not as strong a conference as the Mountain West. We are getting not only a big name coach, but also a national recruiter who has experience recruiting for schools with high academic standards , a proven system of turning around week programs and one that should be able to work with the level of talent that DU can attract.
Hopefully, Joe Scott]s hiring may just be our calling card to finally gain admittance to a conference like, West Coast, Missouri Valley,WAC or even the Mountain West.
I am really excited about the hire and would love to see Joe bring DU to Atlanta and knock off Georgia Tech like I saw him do while at Air Force. Let the fun begin!!

Welcome, Nick.
Atlanta would be a nice place to see DU in the NCAA tournament.
